Karba rejected acccusations of slander brought against him, but Rode says that he had decided to file a civil lawsuit against the journalist as he believes in the rule of law. About a year ago, the Delo newspaper published a number of articles by Karba, writing about Rode's alleged paternity. A trial has been scheduled for 29th Nov.
