1964 – The Beatles bring out their album 'Beatles For Sale', on which there is 'I'm a Loser’, ‘Baby's in Black’, ‘Rock and Roll Music’, ‘Eight Days a Week’, ‘Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby’. The album remained at No. 1 on the British chart for 11 weeks.
1965 - The Byrds are No. 1 on the American singles chart with the song 'Turn! Turn! Turn'.
1971 - Led Zeppelin is at the top of the British albums chart with the album 'Four Symbols', on which there is the 8 minute long 'Stairway To Heaven'. This album remained at the top of the chart for almost 5 years; 11 million copies were sold.
