The price of real estate is comparable to European capitals like Berlin and Brussels. This despite the fact that the average net salaries in Slovenia are just half of the salaries in Germany and Belgium. Nevertheless, buying a square meter in Ljubljana is still far below London and Paris, where a square meter is around 13,000 to 15,000 euros. And even the biggest European capitals can’t compete with Monaco, where one square meter costs about 40,000 euros.
