The winds also brought down around 700 trees and caused damage on buildings blowing off roofs. Elsewhere heavy rain flooded local roads and caused landslides. Fire fighters and relief workers are on the scene clearing away the damage.

A strong Bora wind also caused some traffic problems and partially closed the Luka Koper sea port.
