SD Deputy Group Leader Matjaž Han is convinced that Veber had done nothing illegal, therefore there is no reason to proclaim their intention on their stay in coalition until Cerar's decision is made. "We even consider his actions not only lawful, but also responsible," Han is convinced.
Leader of SMC Deputy Group Simona Kustec Lipicer after today’s meeting of the coalition gave no hints about PM's latest findings, reported Radio Slovenija. Cerar needs some additional explanations from Defence Minister, and it seems he intends to have another meeting with him one of these days.
PM is looking for answers to two questions of crucial importance: the reason Minister Veber ordered an analysis of the sale of Telekom to the Slovene Intelligence and Security Agency, and on what grounds that decision was based. The coalition claims that it is of utmost importance to get to the bottom of the matter, therefore they see no problem that PM took some more time. If it turns out that Veber exceeded his powers, and will have to step down from his position, the coalition won't fall apart. At least that was insinuated by the leaders of deputies of the coalition parties Kustec Lipicer, Franc Jurša and Han.
