The Slovenian state has spent 3 billion EUR for controlling the covid-19 epidemic so far. This is half of the foreseen amount for the anti-corona measures but still this amount has deeply affected the state’s financial status.
The biggest part of these expenses went for the preservation of jobs – in total about 1.2 billion EUR. Further, the state has used half a billion EUR for the public sector and here the biggest part went for additional crisis-allowances for employees in the public sector.
