France recorded its highest 1-day total of Coronavirus cases yesterday. It was also the first time that more than 10,000 positive tests had been detected in one day.

Closer to home, there were 156 new cases in Croatia and 99 here in Slovenia, from almost 1800 tests, a slight drop on Saturday's figure.

Austria has also announced that it is on the verge of a second wave of the virus.

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz warned that cases would reach 1000 per

day soon.
