Today we celebrate the victory against fascism and Nazism and the official end of WW2. Festivities are also planned in Ljubljana and Topolšica.
Also on this day Ljubljana celebrates its day and mayor Zoran Jankovič is opening the renovated villa Zlatica – the residence of renowned mayor of Ljubljana Ivan Hribar.
Today is also EUROPE day which remembers remembers the idea of peace and unity in Europe and today will mark the beginning of the Conference on the future of Europe. It will start with an event at 14.00 in the European parliament in Strasbourg.
