Slovenia is introducing the so-called Covid PCT rule for a number of activities, while abolishing free antigen rapid tests. While these will be paid for by employers for the workers who need them to do their job, university and secondary school students will have to pay for them themselves. Student representatives strongly oppose this.

A chamber representing small businesses has called on the government to scrap the requirement of frequent testing of staff, saying that the cost of 48-hour testing should be covered by the state.

DRAGO DELALUT is President of the association of employers of craftsmen and entrepreneurs: ‘’We cannot pay for this ourselves because it costs too much. it can happen that workers will be burdened by this, that prices will rise. if that's the purpose and the way, then let's do it, but I think this is very wrong.’’

The Chamber of Trade Crafts and Small Business supports vaccination, but they said that they could not force their employees to get the jab.
