The government decided today to make the wearing of face masks compulsory again in all indoor public spaces and when using public transport. Health Minister Gantar made the announcement. The decision comes after a recent surge in Covid-19 cases in Slovenia.
The government also decided to extend the furlough scheme today, designed to help people put on leave, at least until the end of July.
And today Slovenia also added Montenegro, Luxembourg, Albania and Portugal to the red list of countries unsafe for travel. Anyone traveling to a country deemed unsafe, has to go into a 14-day quarantine upon returning to Slovenia.
