The government has formally ended its term.

The National Assembly took note of Prime Minister Marjan Šarec's resignation. His cabinet has received caretaker status until a new government is appointed.
Until then, the government will only perform day-to-day work required for the normal functioning of the state and its bodies.
President Borut Pahor plans to host representatives of deputy groups next week.
