Prime Minister Robert Golob notified the National Assembly today of the resignation of the Justice Minister Dominika Švarc Pipan. It comes in the wake of a dodgy EUR 7 million real estate acquisition.
Parliament could terminate her mandate as early as tomorrow.
She initially refused to resign and hit back with accusations against her own party, the SD.
The Justice Ministry paid EUR 7.7 million for a dilapidated building that had been purchased by the previous owner for only EUR 1.9 million in 2019.
The matter is being investigated by the authorities.
