The Slovenian parliament didn’t prolong the interim restriction for access of Croatian workers to the Slovenian labor market. The Chamber of Commerce estimates that between 1000 and 2000 workers will come to Slovenia in the next 3 years. Only Austria has so far announced it will extend labor market restrictions for Croatia by another two years, but Malta, the Netherlands and the UK are on the other hand lifting the restrictions as of today.
A charity cycle took place in Ljubljana today. It was organised by Slovenian Karitas in association with the Polish and Ukrainian embassies.
Slovenian tennis player Tamara Zidanšek plays in the 1st round of the French Open this afternoon. The 26-year old reached the semi-finals in 2021, becoming the first Slovenian to do so since independence in 1991.
