The 35th Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts opens today. It will focus on the history of strong ties between the former Yugoslavia and post-independence Ghana. This year's artistic director is Ibrahim Mahama, a Ghanian author and artist. The main exhibition features works of some 50 artists drawing connections between contemporary art and graphics in the fields of architecture, design, agriculture and botany. The biennial, which will see exhibitions and events at different venues in Ljubljana, will close on the 14th of January, 2024.
