The most damage due to heavy snowfall was caused in the Zasavje region, with fallen trees and landslides. Those living in Celje, Postojna and Kočevje had up to25cm of snow.

Many households are still without electricity. In the town of Trbovlje and Hrastnik people have had trouble with heating and access to telecommunication services.

Snow also disrupted many country roads' traffic and rail services.
