Parliament passed changes to the Employment of Foreigners Act, simplifying the hiring of non-EU workers in Slovenia. The bill was passed to address the needs of the labour market and the severe shortage of workers in the public and corporate sectors. Officials say the average worker in Slovenia is 43 years old, and that the age is increasing.
