The global semiconductor shortage is still causing trouble for the car industry. The Revoz factory in Novo Mesto, which builds Renaults, said it will again scale down production. They will switch to a single shift in April. This will affect around 450 workers.
This means they will produce around 325 vehicles a day, half of what the company was doing before.
Revoz employs some 2,400 people. It is the only Renault plant that makes the Twingo car. It also manufactures the electric Twingo, Clio and electric Smart.
