Following a new law coming into force in Russia, under which 15 years of imprisonment is threatened for deliberately spreading false information about the Russian military in Ukraine, many foreign media outlets have suspended reporting from Russia.

Due to the threatened sanctions, RTV Slovenia has made the same decision.

The correspondent of RTV Slovenia from Moscow, Vlasta Jeseničnik, will therefore not be reporting on the program until the possible consequences of the new legislation are carefully examined.

Nevertheless, RTV Slovenija will continue to closely monitor the developments in Ukraine through the remaining correspondence network and domestic foreign policy journalists.
