As he visited the site of the fire, Prime Minister Marjan Šarec said the important thing was that there was no immediate danger for the local population and that the public utility will check if all the water resources are as they should be. He also commended everyone involved in the intervention.

Several schools in the area and a kindergarten were closed today. People in the area were advised not to eat homegrown vegetables and boil tap water before drinking it.
