Logar, who recently resigned as the chair of the SDS party council to focus on the Cooperation Platform association, denied the allegation, stating that the SDS's move to distance itself from him is "exaggerated and disproportionate."

Although polls suggest a new party could attract SDS voters and compete with them, there's a widespread belief that it might ultimately benefit the SDS in the next election by offering a viable coalition partner.
