The Foreign Ministry says it's examining a proposal to stop issuing tourist visas to Russian citizens. The proposal was put forward to EU countries by the PMs of Finland and Estonia, after similar calls by Ukraine to put further pressure on Russia's leadership. Estonia has already decided to stop issuing visas to Russians starting on the 18th of August. EU foreign ministers are expected to discuss the issue at the end of the month.
Meanwhile Ukraine's community in Slovenia is collecting signatures to cancel the concert of Russian soprano Anna Netrebko at the Ljubljana Festival at the end of August. The petition has so far been signed by more than 700 people.
