The EU released data on traffic fatalities. It showed that Slovenia made the biggest improvement in road safety among EU members, as European Transport Commissioner Violeta Bulc noted.
However, Slovenia is still far behind other countries in terms of the number of casualties per million people. Slovenia had 44 deaths per million, compared to 28 per million in the UK and 30 per million in Denmark.
