A lot of tourist destinations in Slovenia are recording a big rise in tourist visits, as well as room bookings this season. The Cerkno resort reports a 57% rise in room bookings in comparison to last year, while the valley of Soča reports a record number of visits to two of their most know attractions the church Javorci and Tolminska korita. Other tourist destinations like Golte, or mountain cycling destinations in Prevalje, Maribor and Cerkno also record a higher visit rate than last year. The biggest percentage of tourists are reportedly from Austria, Germany, and Italy, while a smaller percentage of visitors come from more distant countries like The Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Poland and even China.
