The Diamond Princess cruise ship will begin allowing passengers to disembark tomorrow, after being quarantined for 14 days.
The largest number of cases of the new coronavirus outside China is on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, currently docked in Japan. More than 540 of its passengers have tested positive. Japan is asking those who tested negative and are about to leave the ship, to take all the necessary measures to contain the virus.
Among the passengers on the cruise ship are also 6 Slovenians. Simona Repar Bornšek from the Health Ministry, says the government is working to bring them back home safely and says it will test them again for the virus, immediately upon their return. The 6 Slovenians are expected to return to Slovenia by the weekend.
