The Ice Hockey World Championship gets underway in Ljubljana today, which is hosting group A. Hungary and South Korea are playing at 4:30 p.m. today, while Slovenia will play Lithuania at 7 p.m.
The tournament had to be postponed for two years due to the pandemic.
Coach Matjaž Kopitar is optimistic as the team beat France 2:0 in Bled on Saturday and Italy two days earlier.
Slovenia will play evening matches throughout the tournament. On Wednesday, they will take on Romania, on Friday Hungary and on Sunday South Korea.
