Slovenia will sign the UN Global Compact for Migration in Morocco next month. That’s according to Foreign Minister Miro Cerar. This comes after the Czech Republic announced it would not. Hungary and Austria are also not expected to support it.
The charter is not legally binding. The opposition has called for Slovenia to opt out.
The compact sets out 23 goals for a safer and more orderly migration.
