The Slovenian team of Urša Bogataj, Nika Križnar, Lovro Kos and Timi Zajc won the Large Hill Mixed Team competition in Holmenkollen, Oslo today.

They had an emphatic victory, eventually finishing 75 points ahead of Austria, with Norway completing the podium in 3rd place.

Their victory comes on the day that the 13th Winter Paralympics began with an opening ceremony at the Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing.

Slovenia are being represented by 21-year old alping skier Jernej Slivnik, who also competed at the last paralympics in South Korea.
