The second road safety week of the year begins on Monday 6th November and will run until the 12th.
The agency said that 33 people had lost their lives on Slovenia's roads last year because of accidents where alcohol, drugs or other psychoactive substances were involved.
The 'Safe Driving Without Alcohol' week will include an expert international conference at the Ljubljana Driver Testing Centre on Tuesday, 7th November.
The police will monitor drivers carefully during the week for drug or alcohol use.
The next safety campaign will take place in December, from the 11th to the 31st.
