This year’s summer drought has forced Slovenian winegrowers to start harvesting their produce earlier than usual. The first harvestings will take place in the second half of this month, mostly in the Ormož, Metlika and Bizeljsko areas.

Due to frost in the spring and storms in the summer, wine growers expect a 20% lower harvest than last year. But nevertheless, they expect the wine to be of the highest quality.
