Slovenia lost to Serbia at the Eurovolley Women's Volleyball Championships in Ghent, Belgium. It was neck-and-neck in the first set until Serbia edged ahead. They eventually took the first set by 25 points to 20.
The next two sets were more straightforward for the Serbian team with scores of 25-11 and 25-15, respectively.
Serbia were runners-up to Italy at Eurovolley two years ago.
Slovenia are still without a win in Pool A after tough matches against Belgium and Poland. Their next match is against Hungary on Tuesday followed by Ukraine on Wednesday.
The championships are being jointly hosted by four countries - Belgium, Estonia, Germany and Italy.
