A ten-year-old migrant girl was swept away by the Dragonja river last night. Her body has not yet been found. She and her mother were trying to cross the river from Croatia into Slovenia. The 47-year-old mother, holding onto a tree in the middle of the river, was rescued in a joint effort by Slovenian and Croatian officers. Two of her other children were already on the Slovenian side, while her third child was still on the Croatian side. They were all returned to Croatia.
