The 68th Ljubljana Festival opens today with a concert by the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, and Dubravka Tomšič Srebotnjak on the piano. Organizers decided to go ahead with the festival despite the coronavirus. Most of the events will take place outside at the Congress Square in Ljubljana. This year's festival will also feature opera star Anna Netrebko and the Milan La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra. The Ljubljana Festival will run until the 30th of August.
