The 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics were officially opened today. They were declared opened by his majesty the Emperor Naruhito. Slovenia's flag at the opening ceremony was carried by table tennis player Bojan Tokić and canoeist Eva Terčelj. Tokić said it was a great honour to be one of the flag bearers. More than 11,000 athletes from 207 nations will compete in 28 different sports over the next couple of weeks. Slovenia is represented by a total of 54 athletes.
