The Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics finished today with the closing ceremony.

Now, the organizers have yet to decide on whether spectators will be allowed during the Paralympics, which will run from August 24 to September 5.
Slovenia has won a record 3 gold medals in Tokyo, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal. The last one was Janja Garnbret’s gold medal in women’s combined sport climbing and Garnbret carried the Slovenian flag at the closing ceremony. Altogether 54 athletes from Slovenia have taken part at the games of the total 11,000 athletes in Tokio this year. The games in Tokyo are the most successful Summer Olympic Games for Slovenia in its state history.
