Slovenia had a record year in tourism last year.
There were more than 6 million tourist arrivals last year, and 16 million overnight stays.
That’s an annual increase of 4%, and a new record.
Most foreign guests came from Germany. They were followed by tourists from Italy, Austria, the Czech republic, the Netherlands and Croatia.
Mountain municipalities and the capital were the most popular destinations for tourists last year.
