Urgent work to protect Piran's parish church from coastal erosion will get underway in early September
Work to protect cliffs under Piran's parish house from coastal erosion will get underway in the first half of September.
The work, which should cost around 300,000 Euro, is expected to take 60 days, according to the local municipality.
The local pastor has welcomed the work, as the erosion had threatened to cause serious damage to part of the building.
A charity cycle took place in Ljubljana today. It was organised by Slovenian Karitas in association with the Polish and Ukrainian embassies.
