Today was a good day for Slovenia's skiers. Žan Kranjec won the prestigious World Cup giant slalom in Adelboden today. After the first run, he was sixth and in the second run with a remarkable performance he achieved his second career victory. Kranjec thus became the first Slovenian to win the giant slalom in Adelboden, which also earned him the top of the giant slalom standings, where he has 17 points ahead of Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen.
Filip Zubčić from Croatia was second and Victor Muffat-Jeandet from France was third.
Cross-country skier Anamarija Lampič was second in the sprint event in Dresden, Germany, today.
