The Daily Mail newspaper in England has done a study on the most unpronounceable placenames in the world.

The Slovenian city of Ptuj beat the likes of Guimares in Portugal and Bloemfontein in South Africa on a list of difficult names.

Almost 92% of those interviewed had trouble saying "Ptuj".

However, the city has decided to turn the publicity to its advantage, making a promotional video, involving locals, to boost tourism in the area.

The video, which is accompanied by a prize game, has already had thousands of views on Facebook and Youtube.
