A statue of the famous Slovenian poet France Prešeren is to be unveiled in the capital of Montenegro today.

The unveiling is the initiative of the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Slovenia, Vojislav Kovač.

It will be displayed at a newly-built park in Moscow street, Podgorica, near the national TV and radio centre.

Diplomatic ties between the two countries were further strengthened with the announcement of the statue last year.
