DeSUS leader Karl Erjavec has decided to temporarily withdraw his consent to the bid to become a prime minister-designate.

This comes after several MPs were infected with coronavirus and could not vote in person on the no confidence motion in the Janez Janša government that was filed by an informal coalition of centre-left opposition parties.

The vote was to get under way on Wednesday.

Erjavec says they will continue with the no-confidence motion once all MPs can vote.
