Health Minister Tomaž Gantar said Slovenia might get the first doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in December. The Health Ministry will hold a meeting with Pfizer next week, the company expected to have its vaccine approved by the European Medicines Agency.
The Health Ministry says the vaccine would not be mandatory but it would be free of charge for all citizens. According to the National Covid-19 vaccination program, priority will be given to nursing home residents, health workers and chronic patients.
