According to unofficial information, Interior Minister Aleš Hojs has tasked acting Police Commissioner Andrej Jurič with securing revisions of certain already closed cases handled by the National Bureau of Investigation.

The opposition accused him of abuse of power and political meddling in police work. The 24ur.com news portal, which reported the news yesterday afternoon, wrote revisions were demanded in specific investigations whose outcome was obviously not in line with the wishes of the SDS.

This is the first time that the police force has ever before been subject to anything of this sort.
