Today is International Youth Day.
According to Slovenian NGOs, the Youth Office and the Human Rights Ombudsman, the biggest challenges Slovenia's young face today are housing and unemployment.
The number of young people in Slovenia, between 15 and 29 years old, currently stands at just over 300,000, which is less than in previous years. At the same time statistics say more and more young people opt to live with their parents.
Youth associations say they want more decision-making powers, in order to resolve the problems they face.
