Slovenian cross-country skier Anamarija Lampič had arguably one of the biggest wins of her career today as she took victory in the 1.5 km freestyle sprint in Lenzerheude, Switzerland.
She beat Norway's Maiken Caspersen Falla by just 3 hundreths of a second in a dramatic photo finish.
The 24-year old jokingly said that she would celebrate New Year's Eve a little early this year.
It's Lampič 2nd victory at the elite level. She also won in Pyongchang, South Korea in February 2017.
It also follows an excellent 4th place finish last weekend.
