A meteor has exploded over south Slovenia today.
According to the Slovenian Environment Agency, it caused an explosion strong enough to be detected by earthquake sensors.
Witnesses heard it in the area between the town of Novo mesto and the Croatian cities of Rijeka and Zagreb.
It was estimated to be at a height of about 30 kilometres.
