New restrictions are coming to Slovenia.
Slovenia recently passed 1000 active cases of covid-19 for the first time.
The government coronavirus spokesperson, Jelko Kacin, said that new restrictions would be implemented across the country.
The new restrictions include: stricter rules for wearing masks, temperature screenings at the workplace, and limited hours at bars and restaurants.
Wearing masks outdoors will apply starting this weekend. However, they will be necessary in crowded places, such as city centers and markets.
Children from 7th grade on will be required to wear masks in classrooms. As of now, they were required to have them in hallways.
As of next week, there will be changes to the working hours of bars and restaurants. They can only be open from 6am to 10pm.
