Slovenia will again go into lockdown.

New restrictions will be put in place in the coming days, and will go into effect Saturday. All non-essential shops will be closed, as will kindergartens and student dorms -- with some exceptions. Grocery stores, building supply stores, and pet supply stores will remain open. The prime minister said the next week will be a critical one in the country’s battle with the coronavirus.

As of now, there will not be any restrictions on moving between municipalities. There will be restrictions on public transport: the number of people using them will be limited.

The measures will initially be put in place for a week. The government will then decide whether to extend them or not.
