One is a book on talks with Pahor and the other is his book about the importance of the writer Edward Kocbek during the Liberation movement in the Second World War.

Pahor is a firm supporter of the independence and self-esteem of the Slovenian nation. His most famous work is Necropolis which is describing his experience in a concentration camp. With this work he acclaimed fame on European level and as he put it – he was recognised abroad sooner than at home.

The Trieste based writer said at the presentation of the book on Friday that he will not celebrate his birthday as he is devoting each day to the mystery of life which is to stay alive.
