This year's first batch of snow has caused some trouble on roads across Slovenia, especially between the coastal region and the inland parts.
Some ten centimetres has fallen in most parts of the country.
Traffic on major roads has been slow and sections of the A1 highway connecting Koper and Ljubljana and the A2 highway between Ljubljana and Austria have been closed due to traffic accidents and trucks sliding off the road.
Drivers are still advised to be extra careful and patient as driving continues to be hampered due to the snowy conditions. Winter gear is compulsory until 15 Mar. And there is a danger of black ice and sleet, as well.
