A third coronavirus package was passed yesterday.
Parliament passed with package in a 51:8 vote. It’s valued at around a billion euros. It includes subsidies for part-time work, and tourist vouchers. Adults in Slovenia will get EUR 200 and minors will get EUR 50 to spend on accommodations in Slovenia until the end of the year. The vouchers must be used in Slovenia and are meant to help the ailing tourist industry. Officials stressed that it was not a cash certificate.
The package also has measures to help the sports industry, ski lifts and loans to help small companies stay afloat.
